195 dollars is outrageous for an oil and filter change. That may be why people are going to non dealership shops for service. My truck has never been to anyone but the dealership since new 10 years ago. It will start to see future work done outside the dealership.

I���ve had great experience and I didnt expect to get my truck back as soon as I thought. But I drove my truck for a few days not knowing my engine air filter housing was not put back together. I was wondering why my truck turned off on me at a stop light. After opening my hood I noticed the engine air filter was not put back together.

It took a month to repair my vehicle, it had no power. When I got it back the radio no longer worked and some other minor issues were noticed. I feel that since my car was returned in worse shape than when it went in the dealership should have fixed the new things wrong at their expense.

I have always had a good experience with the professionals at Chevrolet of South Anchorage. They do a great job of explaining the work to be done and always get my vehicle back to me in a timely manner. Just had an oil and filter change and Service Adviser Mike was great. Couldn't be happier with the service I received.

You may need more employees to run your service department. I don���t use much your service department because I don���t need the my truck that much. However, if I would come regularly service I hope you can speed up your service to check in progress.

I brought my 2020 Sierra in for an oil change and to get a serpentine belt and idler pulley replaced. I had noticed squeaking coming from the belt/pulley and the belt was frayed so I wanted them changed. I was told there would be a $250 diagnostic fee (which was surprising because I was just asking for the belt and pulley to be replaced) and would be contacted before any work would be done. I reluctantly agreed. Later that day I got a call saying that the noise was probably the water pump and that it���s replacement would be covered by the power train warranty but that the truck would need to stay at the dealership for a couple weeks before the mechanics could get to it. I seriously doubted the water pump was a problem and asked for only the oil change to be done. I was told that it might not be a good idea to drive the truck because if the water pump fails that could cause damage, etc. I picked up the truck after the oil was changed, went to NAPA and got the belt and pulley, installed them myself, and the noise was solved. Water pump is fine. This all seemed like an attempt to do unnecessary warranty work which would have cost me a couple weeks without my truck and would have cost GM quite a bit of money.
