A Customer From ANCHORAGE, AK Gave a 2.6 Star Rating On Their 2025 Chevrolet 1500 Silverado Sales Experience

Our overall experience was great, but our salesman, Christopher (don't know his last name because he never once introduced himself), ruined it for us. Initially, I wasn't going to leave feedback about his subpar performance, particularly with regards to handling the necessary bank documents. However, his comment about only leaving positive feedback ("if you have nothing nice to say, don't do it") compelled me to share our disappointing experience. We began looking for a car on Saturday morning, test-drove the vehicle, and were satisfied. Our pre-approval letter was $10,000 less than the overall closing cost, so we requested a purchase order for the bank to officially apply the actual closing cost amount. However, Christopher provided a single paper resembling a quote, not the purchase order document I requested. We returned to the dealership for the correct form, but Christopher refused to update the names on the purchase order, claiming "it shouldn't matter." This lack of effort was frustrating, especially since we had already made more than enough trips to the dealership than we should have. After calling the dealership(finance department) to confirm the bank check was on its way, nothing was done to finalize the deal. No paperwork was completed, and the car wasn't even cleaned. When I called Christopher on Monday morning, he seemed surprised that we got approved for $10,000 more than our initial pre-approval. Christopher's sudden urgency to complete the paperwork was apparent, but his repeated requests for mine and my husband's personal information were excessive. It's clear that the prospect of a bad review motivated him to finally take action. I wish we had been assigned the friendly Asian lady who initially greeted us and made us feel welcome. Her professionalism and courtesy would have made a significant difference in our experience.
